By Sea or By Air?
When relocating overseas, there are two methods through which you can ship your goods—by air or by sea. In order to figure out which shipping method is best for you and your family, you must first calculate the volume of goods you wish to ship. Our overseas shipping rates are calculated by the total number of cubic feet or kilograms.
If you are relocating a large shipment, we suggests you ship by ocean as it is more cost-effective. However, if you are sending a small shipment that falls below the minimum ocean shipment volume, it may be worth shipping by air.
- Great for large shipments
- Very cost-effective
- Longer shipping time than by Air Freight
Air Freight:
- Great for small shipments
- Speedy shipping time
- Easier when passing through customs
Customers have the option to load containers themselves. AARON P.B. Shipping can leave the container at a client’s residence for a few hours or overnight—whatever is most convenient! Once a client has completed loading his/her container, we will transport the container to the port of departure and see the shipment through from there.
- Copy of passport(s)
- Customs forms
- Inventory list
AARON P.B. then transfer your load to its port or airport of departure, see it through customs, secure it on its vessel for shipping and receive it in the USA—making sure it makes it safely to your new residence in the USA once it has arrived.
